The UK has a different data protection framework to the EU, and is considering overhauling aspects of the UK GDPR. Any company that trades between the UK and the EU now have to consider two data protection regimes, the EU’s and the UK’s.

SME Comply have been great for us. We handle some sensitive data and complex data flows and Gary has worked with us patiently and intelligently to make sure we are compliant in a post-Brexit world, and one in which the GDPR goalposts are continually moving. We have adopted a range of his templates and adapted several more, and whilst we have yet to take advantage of all that is on offer, knowing it is there to call upon has been a significant weight off our minds.
